  • Subscribe to push notifications - Progressive Web App (PWA) only

    • Push notifications are sent using your browser’s Web Push subscription.

    • PWA is supported by most Mobile and Desktop platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows, MacOS.

  • Push notifications are delivered when criteria for your selected rides are met:

    • Ride wait/queue time is below your set threshold.

    • The ride’s operating status has changed from Operating -> Down, Down -> Operating.

Passes

  • Ride Assist is available for use, free of charge, until December 1, 2025.

  • Starting December 1, 2025, Ride Assist will be available through the purchase of One-Week Passes.

  • A One-Week Pass will provide access to all features across all available parks.

Getting Started

iOS / Apple iPhone

  1. Open Ride Assist within the safari browser.

  2. Click the ‘Share’ Button within the browser, and choose ‘Add to Home Screen’.

  3. When prompted with Add to Home Screen, select ‘Add’.

  4. Launch the app for Ride Assist that was added to your home screen to interact with Ride Assist.

Main Screen

About/Help - This page

Push Diagnostics - Helper tool to view your current push notification subscription settings.

Refresh Data - Refreshes the ride operating data manually*

Reload App & Force Update - Reloads the app and updates the app to the latest version.

Auto - Auto refresh ride operating data at a fixed interval (default: 60 seconds).

Push (Status) - The status of Push Notification on the current device.

Pass Status & Redemption - If no pass has been redeemed, prompts to purchase a One-Week pass in order to use Ride Assist.

Park - Dropdown selection of available parks. Available with the purchase of a One-Week pass.

Max wait (min) - The wait time threshold. This is the wait time used to identify rides with a wait time below, at, or above the current threshold. Rides with a wait time less than the set Max wait are notified through push notifications when the wait time is below the set Max wait time. Rides that are already below the threshold are not notified**. Available with the purchase of a One-Week pass.

Status - Filter for rides by the operating status; Operating, Down, Closed, Any. Available with the purchase of a One-Week pass.

Enable Push - Enables push notifications to device with Ride Assist installed as a Progressive Web Application (PWA). Instructions for how to install are located in the Getting Started section above. Available with the purchase of a One-Week pass.

Test Push - Delivers a ‘Test’ notification to the current device upon request. Requires push notifications to be enabled. Available with the purchase of a One-Week pass.

Disable Push - Disables push notifications on the current device.

Select Rides - When clicked, a list of rides are presented to be chosen. Multiple selections are available. Best used with the filter of a park. The chosen rides are rides that are in the current view. When push notifications are enabled, these rides are set in a subscription(s). Available with the purchase of a One-Week pass.

When push notifications are enabled:

  • Notifications sent for selected rides when wait time is below the set Max wait

  • Notifications sent for selected rides when the operating status changes from operating to down.

  • Notifications sent for selected rides when the operating status changes from down to operating.

Ride selections are available for the selected park or all parks.

One-Week pass is redeemed, and park filtering is accessible.

The results are filtered for the selected park and rides.
